The Coffee Brewer to sponsor Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy

The Qatar Rugby Federation and Strategic Partner Alliance (SPA) announced a one-year sponsorship of the Qatar Sevens team and Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy.

The agreement, which was signed on January 10, will see SPA’s The Coffee Brewer become QRF and Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy’s official partner.

The Qatar team will sport a new jersey during the March 3-4 competition at the Aspire ground.

Besides, The Coffee Brewer will use both new and existing technology to develop and create events, activations and content that will benefit the fans, who will also have the opportunity to taste world class coffee and tea products during the event.

“SPA is very proud to partner with the QRF and the Asia Rugby Sevens Trophy Championship for what promises to be an extremely exciting partnership,” said Managing Director Omran Al Sherawi.

“The QRF has built something very special. There is a bond there between the officials, players, clubs, and the supporters and beyond which epitomises the very essence of rugby and our company. Supporting the national team will hope to bring the whole country together. This mirrors our business, connecting people around Qatar and MENA region,” he added.

In total, 11 teams will participate at the next month’s tournament.

“The new jersey is packed with technology and features designed to withstand regular abuse and meet the specific needs of the Asia Rugby Sevens,” said QRF President Yousef Jeham Al Kuwari. “It was created in collaboration with the QRF organising committee and the manufactures of BLK Innovation department. The jerseys are of high quality and ultra modern.”

“I welcome The Coffee Brewer and appreciate their support and partnership at a time of fragile economic downturn. We hope our partnership can extend beyond our agreement and we looked forward to making The Coffee Brewer the sole partner of all Qatar rugby events and tournaments,” said Al Kuwari.

Speaking about the jerseys’ branding, QRF Senior Coordinator Samuel Rico said, “I believe presentation does not have to be compromised in pursuit of performance. The Coffee Brewer is an international trademark and in designing the branding we felt the name must remain stylish with added visibility and a rugby passion.”
